Description

Free English Classes for young peoples and adults. You will learn reading & writing, speaking, listening and communicating. With Functional Skills Level 2 Certificate, the students can apply to the university, accomplishing the English entry requirements. The candidates will have an initial assessment and the college will allocate them to the classroom according with their English level.

Entry Requirements

There are no special requirements. Be aged 19 or over . The candidate must accomplish the funding eligibility conditions. Must be EU or UK or Permanent residence.

Topics include:

Acquire an understanding of everyday words and their uses and effects and apply this understanding in different contexts.
Listen, understand and respond to verbal communicating in a range of familiar context
Read with accuracy and straightforward texts encountered in everyday life and work and develop confidence to read mor widely
Write straightforward texts and documents with clarity and effectiveness and demonstrate a sound grasp of spelling, punctuation and grammar.

If you want to go to the university, after you achieve Level 2 English Functional Skills, this diploma will be valid for admission as proofing English proficiency.

Functional Skills qualification in Information and Communication Technology

(As this qualification develops transferable skills which will be useful in work and life, learners could also progress onto a variety of NCFE qualifications in Employability, Money Management, or vocational areas.
