Description

This qualification is aimed at those who are involved in installing roof sheeting and cladding systems and associated tasks on site working from drawings and specifications. In order to apply for this course you will need to be working in this industry, because this course is work based, you don't need to come to the classes. The assessor will come at your workplace once to observe your work experience. Lastly, an online questionnaire will be required of you to complete. Payments: £450 when you come for registration at our office and the rest of £450 will be paid when you will receive the diploma. After receiving diploma, you will have a paper based Health and Safety Test with the assessor and in 2 weeks you will receive the card.

Preparing resources for the installation of sheeting and cladding materials on roofs and walls in the workplace

Optional units (a minimum of 6 credits must be achieved)

Installing solar collectors to roofs in the workplace
Preparing and operating boom-type mobile elevating work platforms (MEWP) in the workplace
Preparing and operating ergonomic manipulating machines to lift and transfer loads in the workplace
Preparing and operating scissor-type mobile elevating work platforms (MEWP) in the workplace
Refurbishing sheeting and cladding on roofs, walls or rainscreen systems in the workplace
Repairing sheeting and cladding systems on roofs and walls, including rainscreen, in the workplace
Slinging and hand signalling the movement of suspended loads in the workplace
