Entry Requirements

For STANDARD APPLICATIONS: Baccalaureate Diploma or 12 Classes Certificate or Level 3 Qualification with minimal 32 UCAS Points. For NON-STANDARD APPLICATIONS(with no certificates): You can apply on work experience base minimal 2 years of any relevant work experience. English Language must be on minimal Level 1 or B1. If you don't have any language certificates you will have internal English Test and interview.

Personal Statement (mandatory)

A personal statement is an essay that the student must write to apply to study at the university. Its purpose is to summarise your skills and experience and help you gain a place at your desired course. It must include the name of the university and the name of the course. You have to mention why are you applying to this particular university and what do you hope to achieve after the course, career wise. A well written personal statement will help you stand out in the crowd and secure you a place at your dream university. You can follow a specific guide to answer to some expected questions, however, you must not mention them in the essay. Have a clear, cursive structure and write minimum 500 words.

This degree will give you a good foundation, allowing you to work in a wide range of statutory, voluntary and independent settings, including local authority teams, health promotion projects, refugee and asylum service hospitals, sheltered accommodation, hospices and day centres, and residential care units. In addition, graduates with a health and social care background are also in a good position to be considered for careers in health education and health promotion, welfare, health research, community mental health and commissioning and care management services. Graduates may seek roles as service managers and coordinators, in advocacy, education and training, or as technicians and support workers helping children and families, older and disabled people, drug and alcohol abusers, and people with mental health problems.
