GCSE Maths at grades D, or equivalent are required for entry. Functional Skills Level 2, is accepted as equivalent. This can be exempted by successfully passing the QA Higher Education Maths test (score 6 out of 15). Mandatory applicants need to successfully pass the QA Higher Education English test (minimum 55%). IELTS 5.5 with no component less than 5.0 in each band, or equivalent. This can be exempted by successfully passing the QA Higher Education test (minimum 55%). For each level, we offer non-standard entry routes for students. Mature learners may present a more varied profile of achievement that is likely to include extensive work experience (paid and/or unpaid) and/or achievement of a range of professional qualifications in their work sector.
